You will agree with me that becoming intimate in any form of relationship with others is not an event but a process. No one is perfect yet, Nevertheless! Relationship Sustainability and Productivity is attainable by the virtue of healthy communication, patience and understanding.
Hello Great minds!!! Welcome back to my page @davidbolu34😘. Trust you are having a great moment.
Recently! I have come to realize that relationship with others is not for perfection but for cooperation, sharing values and supports towards understanding, unity and continous positive achievements.
Yes!! You can be self motivated/employed yet you can't escape the influence of people. Either to live with / around you, inspire / support, patronize you or work with / for you.
You think you can escape relating with people?😂😂😂😂😂 NO!!!
So! Learning to relate and live with people's imperfections is the core of sustaining any relationship.
Some things might not change by your nagging but by accomodating people's imperfection for strategic healthy negotiations that leads to gradual minimization of errors. What we call imperfection sometimes are nothing but individual differences. We must embrace our differences in other to find a balance for understanding, intimacy and continous positive results.
Few tips on how to embrace others differences.
Adjust your expectations: When i don't put too much expectation on the right or wrong outcome and response from others, it's always easy to ignore, overlook , forgive and understand their point of weakness when they disappoint one way or the other.
Make excuses for people in your mind ahead of time: This helps me maintain my peace when they don't meet up my desired expectations eventually.
Check your focus: I don't need to focus on peoples weakness rather focus on positive things in them and i try to communicate effectively with them. With this i will be able to value, tolerate, understand and help our imperfections.
I often remind myself of this notion!👉👉 In the process of coping with others imperfections I'm also expected to be adjusting my own imperfections😋 because I'm not perfect too🙅 Are you? Lols!!!!
So! Knowing that others are tolerating our own imperfections should also motivate us to intentionally embrace their's as we all grow gradually and keep building healthy, productive and sustainable relationship with ourselves.
The End😁😁😁
