You can not be persistent without a purpose. Without setting your goals in life it is difficult to achieve certain goals in life . God has a purpose for every man on earth ,Without a purpose we really can not persist. Lack of purpose is an enermy of persistence.

One white man once remarked that a man would work eight hours a day for a pay; a man would work ten hours a day for a good bus, but a man can work twenty-four hours a day for a good course when he knows that a good thing is coming to him from it.

Making excuses;

Making excuses is one of the enemies of persistence, there is an adage that says"an excuse is a gathered lie. Excuses mean looking for exit signs, and it is responsible for ninety-nine percent of all the failures that we find around us.

Lack of stamina:

This is the inability to stick to a course of action for a while. This is another enemy of persistence.

Laziness:

Many people are very lazy nowadays and full of procrastination making it difficult for them to achieve a certain goals in life.

Lack of determination:

A person who lacks determination is certain to stagnate.

Listening to the voice of failure:

You need to close your ears to anything that you hear that does not add to your faith. persistence does not recognise any limitation. persistence treats life problems like onions-it removes them layer by layer .
