Today I am gonna ask you a simple but important question.
Think you are homeless and you are sitting on the street. You don't have family or friends. One guy comes to close you and show three things..1.food 2. Alcohol 3. Money. And ask you to choose one. Think also you are addicted to alcohol, however, what will choose?
The same experiment did two guys. They hold some foods, some bottle of beers and some money. And they asked to choose one to homeless people. Probably homeless was hungry he chooses up food and starts to eat. I wondered and realized the value of food. The other homeless did not want to except any stuff. He just wanted to talk with anyone. He said a couple of people come and give me food but no one talk with me. Really without friends life is pretty hard. Then I knew talking with someone is also a important needs. What you have your thoughts, want to express your sorrow need someone.
Sometimes I used to see YouTube videos. Actually, these guys do present some unique and motivational videos and also they help homeless persons. There are few people exists who help needy peoples. We should help needy peoples because everybody needs help, love and unshakable faith.
Your reflection on this experiment is both thought-provoking and heartwarming. It highlights the importance of basic human needs beyond just physical sustenance. While food, shelter, and money are undeniably crucial, the need for social connection and communication is equally significant.
It reminds us that a simple act of kindness, like engaging in conversation or showing genuine interest in someone's well-being, can have a profound impact on their life, especially when they might be feeling isolated or alone.
This experiment serves as a poignant reminder that compassion and empathy are powerful forces that can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. It encourages us to not only provide for the material needs of those less fortunate but also to offer our time, attention, and understanding, which can be equally valuable. 🙏❤️
Seems like we have similar thoughts.
