Hello everyone and welcome to my blog again. Today I'll be writing about my Valentine's experience and how it went. Firstly, I would like to say a very big happy new month to all of us who made it to this year✨✨ We thank God for life.
Valentine is a special day to celebrate love, and to also evolve in the atmosphere of beautiful unionism. To this effect, I will be giving us a clear unforgettable experience I had on one special Valentine's day.

My Valentine's day experience

I can vividly remember that day, it was on the 14th of February, 2014, just like every other Valentine day. I was very happy that morning that will be celebrating my first Valentine ever. I was in SS3 (final class in Nigerian highschools), my girlfriend, chiamaka asked me to prepare myself that she will be taking me out on the 14th. I thought it was a joke, she promised to take me out on a special date, though it was a small budget.

I was very happy we're going out together but I wasn't happy she'll be the one to handle the bill on my first Valentine celebration. This story might seem good to you all, but it all ended badly for me.
We were in a boarding school, but was on midterm break at that time. Chiamaka had a twin sister Chidera. She was my very close pal. I was happy, very very happy that I used chiamaka picture on my 2go profile pic then. I told my friends I'll be going out tomorrow oo. I can still remember what I said to my roommates then "I no be una mate now oo" (Nigerian pidgin, meaning I'm not in the same level with you guys anymore).

During midterm period like that, students can go out of the school premises but on our day wears. We dressed up in our day wears but after going out, we changed at Aloysius house, a classmate who's house was just outside the school.

On that day of Valentine, I went out before chiamaka. I was at Aloysius place playing playing PS 2 while waiting for her. Aloysius wasn't a lover guy then, had nothing to do with Valentine. When she came, she entered the room and changed her clothes.

We walked out together discussing. When to jovonne hotel, Ogaja, in Cross River State. Bought some soft drinks and rice. I had some money with me though, to avoid any unwanted situations. Chiamaka was the only girl I love completely then, I thought she would love me the same, but not what I was thinking.

While we were still eating and drinking, watching those swimming, some of our past seniors who graduated from same school showed up. Fortunately for them and unfortunately for me, they knew Chiamaka very well. Why would they go out without a girl sef?

They greeted us and went on to sit down a separate table. After a while, one of them came back and asked me what I want to take.... I was okay, so I turned down his offer. He asked us to come sit with them, and he left. I wasn't comfortable with that idea, I refused to go. I was shocked when Chiamaka told me that she's coming, she wants to ask them for something.

She left the table and sat down with them, discussing, smiling and laughing. I sat down for more than one hour for what I can remember. How would I go out with a girl and she goes to sit with others na..... I chatted her on 2go to come let's go back, but she said I can go, she will come and meet me in school.

Like it was a joke or something. She even wanted to give me transport fare when coming back, that was after I met her in their table. The guys are nice, just that I don't like what she did.... I had to walk back alone guys. Na only me Waka come back.

I told Chidera everything her sister did to me that day and I wasn't happy with. Chidera said Chiamaka just wanted to celebrate Valentine because all of her friends were celebrating too. She just called me because I was the one available for her, not because she really wanted to celebrate Valentine day with me as her boyfriend.

We were still naive though, but it actually got to me I swear.. since then, I can't remember going out on a val day. I don't even trust anything concerning love again. How on Earth will I take you out and you ended up coming back with someone else??? No fight, no quarrel, just light that. Oh sorry, she took me out.

I want to celebrate this coming Valentine's day with a new catch. I hope it goes well oooo..
