They live in groups in the wild and are always vigilant about their safety from predators. The breeding rate of rabbits is extremely high. Baby rabbits are hairless at birth. Later, with increasing age, their body hair starts growing. Rabbit fur can be white, black or grey. As many as 30 species of rabbits have been discovered so far. Rabbits sleep more than eight hours a day. They are most active at dawn and dusk.
