Doing good because you want praise and human appreciation is an example of charity that is not sincere. Doing good because of the lure of heaven and the threat of hell is an example of charity that is not sincere. Doing good in the hope of pleasing Allah is also an example of dishonest charity.
Doing good sincerely is doing good for the good itself. He did good by not expecting anything in return and from anyone. Nor do they expect a reward from Allah. Sincerity is selfless, hopeless, and without desire. He was truly pure from the deed itself.
If we are sincere to help neighbors, it means that the act of helping is done without motive. Among them are without the motive of praise, without the motive of reciprocation, even without the motive of wanting to get a reward from Allah. Such good deeds are really only done as doing good.
Expecting praise from creatures and expecting praise from God are the same. Both have strings attached, which means that what we do is not pure anymore. If there is a lure in our good deeds, it means that the actions are not pure anymore, which are very likely to have been contaminated by lust.
Sincerity is pure, without the lure. Sincerity is silence, without crowds. Sincerity is liberation, without attachment. Even if your right hand does good, your left hand will not know it. So pure again, the universe does not know it.
If so, do not do good for human reasons and not for God's reasons, but do good for good itself.
