also called Mexican apple, casimiroa, and cochitzapot, is a tropical fruit plant from the family Rutaceae that is native to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Central America.

Mature sapodilla tree height can reach 5 to 16 meters, tall and evergreen. white sapodilla fruit at first glance looks like an avocado because the skin color is light green and glossy shiny, it 's just that it is more round in shape with a diameter of 5 to 10 cm.

The skin of the fruit is green when young and yellow when ripe, the skin of the fruit is not edible. the flesh of the fruit tastes like a mixture of bananas, peaches, pears, and a bit of vanilla . there are about 1 to 5 seeds contained in each white sapodilla fruit.
