Jamaican guava (Syzygium malaccense)

Is a type of guava which is also known as guava bol, guava kepal, malaysia apple, malacca apple, and so on. Jamaican guava at first glance similar to water guava, but larger in size. Jamaican guava benefits are predicted to be good for health.
This guava has a characteristic red color on the outer skin, but some types are white and pink. The flesh of the fruit is white and thicker than water guava. It also tastes bland and dry when compared to crunchy guava.

Jamaican guava benefits can be obtained by direct consumption, used as a salad mixture, until processed into pickles or jam. Almost all parts of the Jamaican guava are edible, except for the seeds.
