QOTD #5: Are you Invisible?

Have you ever steered your boat directly into the mountain?

I did.

The water was godly blue. The shimmering of light came not from the reflection of other light, but emitted its own. The sky was a yellow that could not be explained. Beyond the view of the mountain is an enormous tree growing over the surface of the deepest ocean

Turning left hard, my ship manages to get stuck in between the cracks of the mountain. How could a gold shining tree be there? Have I lost my mind? Was I hallucinating? What fruits would this tree hold?

Allow me to explain...

Many years ago.

I needed to travel to the past.
So I sought me out my connections to the underground worlds and traveled to a distant point in the globe.

A reptile gave me a boat ride to a nearby hotel window. Mrs. Snakeyes (pronounced snack-eh-yes in english), D. (The D is for Duble) said some things I can't recall now. The locals just call Dudle, Sed. Dudle goes on about how they are mispronouncing his name as sin. And that they will continue to make fun of him and make up stories. Ironically, if he had seen the future he would laugh....maybe.

It wasn't her fault she couldn't do the D sounds. She was a reptile, after all. Luckily for me, I understood enough to get through the day with these types. Their species is very sophisticated.

So as a deal to use a special machine she had cooped up and had no idea how it works, I promised to repay a debt of hers.

I was about to enter the window and the portal opened up just as I jumped out.

I was now a small plant overlooking a stream of that same godly blue and shine. The grass was the greenest I had ever seen. I turned towards the horizon and saw 7 suns rising at once. The land did not scorch under its light.

The energy of the light could be seen travelling over the fields. It was like seeing a million cords of pulsing electricity. Light veins or veins of light.

So a few "moments" have passed in this world, and a creature of some sort came into my view. It was coming from up the stream, where an enormous rocky mountain stood. It had A stream of water came gushing down from above onto ground level, forming the stream that was in front of me.

I watched for a long time, this creature shoot its laser eyes as the suns came up. It would shoot the first one that came up repeatedly. Then, when the next two came, it shot in crescent form. Its "lasers" appeared like an upside down smile. Then the next three came up and was back to shooting at all, simultaneously in rapid succession.

This continued for what seemed like forever.

I grew and grew and grew watching this thing do the same routine. Finally, I was able to reach over the mountains' cliff. I was able to see the rest of the beginning of the next end.

Stairs have been carved onto the mountain and there stood floating Satan. Muscle and skeleton shown, no skin, legs, arms and the whitest eyes I have ever seen.

I saw the suns' energy running up into this red animal. Floating above the rock and a bright light emitted from behind him. From this light, a faceless androgynous "angel" appeared, heard the message and left in laughter back to the source of light.

I didn't get why it was funny. I had seen enough. I asked for how long I have been growing since Satan planted me in the ground. "10,000,000 years" a voice said.

"huh..." I thought...

I unhooked from the machine and was back in the room. Many people were around me. They were all excited to see me awaken "from slumber". They were all so quick to show me things like the "worlds fastest ball in the universe".

"yea whatever", I thought. "Show me", I said.

He threw it as hard as he could and the ball was gone, but in an instant I caught up to it and gave it back to him. They were awe struck. They threw it again and I repeated the same. Creating water and earth into one. Formed from the sound of my travel.

Once back, I said my goodbyes and was instantly at the checkout desk. Told me I owed a handsome fortune for the stay. He finaly got that "I did not understand" which fell within his own policy which, in turn, eliminated the debt which was void from the beginning.

I got out of the door and there was she was in her skipper on the middle of the street waiting.

"The elevator down was a long ride of 100,000 floors seemed too long to me, so I dropped into the dark. It was also good exit strategy from all the zombies in the halls wanting to eat my brains.", was what I was going to say, but I just told her the debt is cleared. She thanked me and said, "we are now even" in her slithering tongue. and a portal opened up again where I was off to start another adventure.

And that is the true story of how I ran my ship into a mountain and gave myself partial memory amnesia from the crash.
