When I made the decision to create an animal shelter, I emphasized that it would be a family shelter. My dogs never sit in enclosures and are never alone. They have their place in the house, but at the same time they can walk around the house as they want. Someone sleeps in the dog room, someone on the couch or in an armchair. Just like normal pets. The only difference is that there are more of them. Eighteen dogs live in my house now.
