MY 3 YEARS POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION(PPD) STORY!

Throwback Thursday!
Since it's Thursday today, I want to share my story about my way back postpartum depression after giving birth in my 2nd child!
Year 2019 I give birth to my youngest(a baby boy) after I given birth of him, I had many symptoms of postpartum like;
1.Mood Swings
2.Severe Headaches
3.Back Pains and Leg Cramps
4.Trouble Sleeping
5.Emotionally and Physically Tired
6.Feel Overwhelmed
This 6 symptoms of mine was always and everyday there! I feel like Im always empty! Until 2020 comes!

•This is the year that I started gaining my weight,but I didn't know what's my weight is because I don't have any weighing scale at home.
•The symptoms of postpartum are always there, until it's give me more symptoms like, I am always angry, I feel emptiness as usual, I feel like I'm always alone all the time, I don't have the confidence in my self.

•Year 2021, my postpartum is not yet gone, and my big belly has been there also, big belly, big shoulders(like a boxidor)😅 chubby and round face😆 and I feel like I'm gaining a lot of weights this time because I easily feel tired, specially when I'm walking in a short distance only,and when I go to bed there's a time I can't breath when I'm laying down in bed.
•And also the stress, I had a stress all the time, mix emotions, stress from my kids hehe😊😁, mental stress due to many thinking about financial problems, family problems, and of course in my body..and you know what? Due to my stress, I've always go on eating when I'm stressed (stressed eating anyway)😅😆😀 that's the main reason why I'm gaining a lots of weights.

•Year 2022, See the difference of my 2021 and 2022 photos, the evidence of the way when I'm stressed, always go to eating😅😆 this is the result of stressed eating😂😂
•I gain more, more, more weight this year, I can't control anymore on what I want to eat, (I think my weight here was 65-67 kgs.) And this year I don't think what other people say behind my back, Specially to the (MARITES) Lols😅 What's on my mind was always saying" I don't care, this is my body)😀😆
•Until I figured out that I'm not normal anymore( pero wala ko nabuang ha)😅😀😂 I mean my body is not normal, I'm gaining lots of weight, I feel like, I can't breathe everytime I go to sleep...So I decided to tell my husband, I want to go to cebu to be checked up of what happen on me (specially in my body) Why I'm always like this!
•So on the vacation day we came here to Cebu with my kids, I went to the private hospital in Mandaue City, and got a private doctor..To make the long story short, My Doctor said I had the Postpartum Depression and It will be going happened with Anxiety..I have healthy issues also, due to always eating a high carbs foods and that's the main reason why I'm gaining a lot of weights, A stess eating and eating high carbs all the time was not healthy..(that's the time I've been realized about what is POSTPARTUM and what is High Carbs Foods)

•The same year- after the check ups, the laboratories and the ultrasound, my Doctor advice me to take a regular exercise and eating only LOW CARB FOODS to back my body and weight normal. (You can search what is the Food lists Low Carb Foods)
•It's not easy for me, since all my life it's my first time to do the daily exercise and eating the foods that I didn't know first)until my Doctor, giving me a list of foods that I will take.
•So, everyday I do the 30 mins. workouts;
1.Cardio Workout(30 mins.) Every morning before breakfast
2.Face and Neck Exercise(20 mins.) Every 1 pm, I do this when my kids was asleep.
3.Shoulder Exercise (20 mins.) Every 6 pm before I going to bed.
•I continued the workouts for almost 3 months, and continuing my diet( The Lowcarb food diet) and there's a lot of changes in my body, my backpains, leg cramps, headaches, and difficulty breathing was gone, and surprisingly I lose weight, (from 65 kgs. It turns down to 55, and down to 47 kgs.)

•Year 2023- this is my body and my weight here was 47 kgs. This is the result of the way how to take care of my diet and my daily exercise, when I completely losing my weight...I visit my Doctor, she was surprised when she saw my big changes, and after that she told me to do another laboratory tests and ultrasound to make sure that my health issues was comes into normal.
•And finally I'm happy with the result, Its turned out to be all normal, my laboratory tests ,my ultrasound and my health issues was gone...I was very happy that time.
•Since I lose weight, my Doctor told me that I can eat the high carbs foods but in moderation only, To make gaining weight again because she told me that In my height (5'1) my ideal weight was (43-52) but maintaining the 50 kgs was the exact into my body shape.

•So this is me now, maintaining my weight, I can eat whatever I want, but in moderation only specially when it comes into sweets.

•This is my body shape when i gain 1 or 2 kgs.( From 50 to 51 or 52 kgs.)
•Although I can't usually maintain the 50 kgs. everyday because, sometimes it becomes 51 or 52 after I'm eating my meals but that's normal, because it depends on the food I've taken specially when my foods of that day was almost high carbs.
• Since Im on my goal weight now I've stop my exercise, I just do my daily chores at home and that would be enough to be physically active.

•To make the long story short again,😁😆 From now on, I can't guarantee that I'm totally healed with my postpartum depression, (but I can say I'm happy...my health issues was gone, my body and my weight was back to normal)...My Doctor said that postpartum was not gone fast, it depends on us on how to handle with it, Just stay positive, clear your negative thinkings, always pray to GOD, and specially always sorrounded by the people whom you've loved with, whom who make you happy, whom who always cheering you up, and whom who always there to understand and support you! (And that people's was my Family, My 2nd Family- Husband's side,My in-laws, my few true friends and specially my one and only, MY SMALL FAMILY- my HUSBAND and my KIDS!

*This is my own story about my postpartum depression after giving birth, so to the mommies out there who dealed with this kind of symptoms, I cheer you up mommies, think postive always, always pray to GOD and sorround to the people whom you've loved!
And kuddos to the mommies who didn't have this kind of Depression!
