Hi all cool guys, all blockchain community! 👋 👋 👋 The original posts are mine on #hive
I have read many books, collected plenty of info from Internet and watched numerous clips regarding American Revolution. Great act of sacrifice by the American people in the name of Liberty, Democracy and Human Rights and Progress. And of course the trigger, the beginning, the main scene was the city of Boston. I had a dream to visit it and luckily it turned out to happen exactly on July 4th. I was left with great impressions of the city, the festive atmosphere, the Harbor, parks, though didn't attend the fireworks in the city, because was invited to attend a party in NYC and witness the final part of the celebrations.
Anyway, I really hope You will like my pics, it is a great inspiration to get some feedback, comments, and keep in mind, that any type of comments is welcome!!! 😊
Boston
Some first hand info:
- one of the oldest cities in the United States.
- in 1630 Puritans settled down and founded the city.
- Boston Tea Party is top trigger / catalyst for the American Revolution.
- First public or state school was opened here in 1635.
- First subway system opened in 1897.
- and First public park opened in 1634.
I arrived by midday, and straightforward went to the City Municipality, where most of the celebrations activities were held.
Took many pics of people dressed in the old military uniforms.
Honestly, I did not see a big difference in the uniforms of US soldiers and British. Watched many movies, but as far I remember I could hardy find a difference between the outfits of the opposite military forces.
So my brief conclusion says: Same people, brothers and relatives fight against each other in the name of Centralized Governments!!! So now you can sense the difference between Centralized and Decentralized World!!!
I like US open markets, you can find in any part of this great country. You can choose from sooo many different T-shirts, magnets, frames and pictures, souvenirs, sweets, ornaments.
Walking along Market Street. Got to know that the hustle and bustle here never stops, in any season is busy and crowded.
Huge choice of different type of food and I think is a great place to taste locally sourced products. Looks like Boston farm heritage comes to life!
That was my final stop here. Christopher Columbus Water Park is a wonderful place for relaxing, photographing, and especially for families and picnics.
I was thinking to skip any pic of the harbor, as it turned out that I appear nearly on all of them 😠...But how come, it is impossible to to show you Boston without a pic of the scenic harbor.
