Argentina in 10 pictures

I hope you're having a good start of the week, blurters!
Today I will start a new blog topic that I'm planning on making it a tradition: Countries in 10 pictures; in which I'll be posting 10 iconic places of each country, followed by a brief description.

I will start alphabetically with the beautiful Argentina

1. Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, the Capital city of Argentina has many touristic places, in fact, Buenos Aires is a touristic place itself; however, this picture of The Obelisco is the most iconic representation of the city. It is a national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires. It is located in a square known as Plaza de la República, and it's 71.5 meters (235 ft) high.

2. Cataratas del Iguazú (Iguazu Falls)

They are breathtaking waterfalls located on the border of the Argentine province of Misiones and the Brazilian state of Paraná. Although the river flows through Brazil, most of the falls are on the Argentinian territory.

3. Glaciar Perito Moreno (The Perito Moreno Glacier)

It is an astonishing glacier located in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It has an area of 250 km2 (97 sq mi). It is with no doubt, one of the most important touristic destinies of Argentina, and especially in the Argentinian Patagonia.

4. La Casa Rosada (The Pink House)

It is the office of the President of Argentina, and it is considered one of the most emblematic buildings in Buenos Aires. The building also has a museum inside that receives visitors everyday. It has been declared a National Historic Monument of Argentina.

5. El Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon)

According to The National Geographic, this is the only place in the world where you can have the experience of being in another planet, and the only place where you can see how the Earth has evolved. It was declared as World Heritage Site by Unesco.
Known as El Parque Natural Provincial Ischigualasto or simply "El Valle de la Luna", it is located at the San Juan Province in Argentina.

6. Mar del Plata

Mar del Plata is the second largest city in Buenos Aires Province. It has many, but many touristic places: city skyline, Tanque Tower, fishing boats in the port, Saint Michael chalet, Castagnino Museum, Sea Lion Monument, Torreón del Monje, Mar del Plata Cathedral, and a panoramic view from Edén Palace featuring the Casino Central and the NH Gran Hotel Provincial.

7. Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds)

is a tourist train service in Salta Province, Argentina that connects the Argentine Northwest with the border in the Andes mountain range. It's the fifth highest railway in the world.

8. Mendoza

"Mendoza is located in the desert region of Cuyo, next to the Andes mountain range and its one and only Aconcagua. Home of world-renowned wines and ideal for sports such as hiking, cycling, skiing, rafting, and sightseeing, it’s considered by Argentines to be one of their cleanest, most gorgeous cities, as well as ‘the universities city’ because of the number of such buildings." https://www.thousandwonders.net/Mendoza

9. Bariloche

According to the CNN portal "some travelers question whether they have landed in Switzerland instead of Argentina."
It is most famous for its fascinating views of the glacial lake Nahuel Huapi, and also for its chocolate. It's just delightful for the sight and taste.

10. Bosque de Arrayanes (Arrayanes Woods)

Located at the South of Argentina, in a zone known as Patagonia Andina, and to the Southwest of the Neuquen Province. The image of these woods is self explanatory.
