La pesca artesanal, es una ardua labor que realizan nuestros pescadores, los cuales deben despertar desde muy tempranas horas, antes que salga el sol, para ganarle tiempo a las inclemencias del mismo, y así garantizar una faena fructífera para la economía familiar y local, llevar a la mesa de cada uno de nuestros hogares la proteína animal proveniente del mar, es muy complejo, elaborar las embarcaciones de madera, tejer las redes para la pesca, preparar los motores de las embarcaciones, hacer el adecuado mantenimiento a los barcos, y cumplir con la faena de pesca; la foto fue realizada en una pequeña población pesquera llamada Güaca la cual queda muy cerca de mi localidad Carúpano.
