Halterofilia o levantamiento de pesas, es un deporte olímpico, el cual requiere de gran cantidad de fuerza muscular y destreza mental, en donde el deportista debe perfeccionar la técnica para poder cumplir con los requerimientos físicos durante la ejecución de la maniobra, en las fotos podemos observar un deportista durante el levantamiento de las pesas y también otra junto al equipo universitario de halterofilia que representa a la casa de estudios UPTP, esta actividades fueron una participación demostrativa durante la semana aniveraria de la institución.
