Yellow flames

So I finally decided to give it an entry here...first time posting🕵️.

Upon seeing the colour focus of this contest, I went to my gallery to check for yellow photos and I came across these snaps which I took earlier this year when I travelled home for Christmas & New year break.

We do crop farming at home, and one of the crops we grow in large quantities is corn.

After harvesting, we store them in a somewhat ban in the kitchen which the cooking smoke helps to keep it dry till when it's to be used either for food, planting or sales.

That particular day, I and my siblings did the husk removal on the corn(husking) and we packed the husk to the backyard and set them on fire.
I love how it was flaming and that's something we don't come across often, so I decided to take some captures.

It was a dry season (January), so we were required to stay there and watch it burn to the ashes, just to make sure that the fire doesn't extend to other places.

Thanks for reading.
