Retro Jess
I've worked with Jess for a long time, we usually get together once or twice a year to shoot. Since I closed my studio we have just worked on location. But this year we decided to hire a studio and go for it. So the first time shooting in Aardwolf Studio in Sheffield. The studio has quite a few sets. This first one is from the retro set.

I do like to play about with lighting when I'm in the studio, so we went for the infinity curve to work with the ballgowns. Sometimes the ideas work other times they fall a bit flat.

One of the things that both irritates me and also intrigues me is how we see images differently. Apart from the images that the model says "I look fat in that image or that makes my nose look funny etc there is the difference in what we see as a good image. What I am excited about the model may hate (and vice versa), I don't like to post images I don;t like, but I also don't like to post images that the model is not happy with. Sometimes you can compromise, other times images I like can be consigned to the hard drive for ever. Them's the breaks
