It's all about the eyes
I’ve been back on Hive for just over a month and really enjoying looking at some great posts. There are some fabulous photographers using the platform and some great storytellers. It seems to be a generally supportive platform (more so than some of the Social Media platforms out there). I’m sure I am only scratching the surface though, there appears to be so much I don’t know, or sort of know but don’t understand. Hopefully this will come in time and I have a good network of friends that use Hive that have been giving me pointers.
Amy in "fairy tale" dress
So whilst I am learning more about Hive, I will just continue to create posts and hope that they are interesting enough for people to want to read them and look and comment on my photography. These shots were all taken a couple of months back with one of my favourite models – Amy at a rather grand house called Two Wei. The owners hire out this fabulous old rectory to photographers. It's somewhere different to shoot and there are lots of excellent spots both inside and out,

Amy and I (along with a male model) were there to take some shots for a dress designer. After we had wrapped, Amy wanted a couple of shots in this fairy tale-like dress. If I am honest she was a lot more relaxed in this outfit than any of the dress designers.

I can mostly be found shooting models, aviation, motorsports and, when I can, wildlife. But I enjoy most aspects of photography.
