Half my walk to the hospital is through this beautiful park, I am actually enjoying the encouragement in a way to go for a good walk every day, I've always been a bit more of a gym bunny than a walker but it's nice to get out and about in the spring sun and see all the new growth.
When I was in hospital even though it was only a few days, I have this innate ability, maybe we all do, to tap into how different experiences would feel and I thought about how it feels for those in for ages, or those who's last experiences will be those walls of the hospital, which is the case for some people. I realised the thing I would miss the most in there was nature. Sometimes it takes being able to feel into the reality of something being gone to know just how much you appreciate it. I really believe nature and good food are the two most important things for happiness really, then lets throw in connection. Anyone else want to throw in anything else?
