Chores help kids learn responsibility and self-reliance.

"It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings."

-Ann Landers

Parenting or child rearing is one of the hardest responsibility couples do endure yet undeniably one of the most satisfying stage of adulthood. Although these children were just my niece and nephew, as their aunt, in the absence of my sister (their mother due to work load), i do take part of teaching and training them good conduct as early as possible for them to become a responsible citizen in the future.

Teaching them that life is not just about leisure they should take part of household chores and learn something while they are still young so that sooner in their married life they will be the ones teaching their sons and daugthers.

Each of them have designated task to do. We don't allow them to play without finishing their task first. Seeing them doing their task without being told is so rewarding aside from it lessen my task to do.

A quality parent-child relationship is critical for healthy development of the children but in most cases these were unintentionally taken for granted for we focus mostly on other factors like financial situation and daily needs. "Don't forget to spend quality time with them"

@ludevielucero I love the way you're training your niece and nephew. When they grow up, they'll also teach their children. You're the best aunt you know😘🤩
