Taking land by force and consuming it goes against the principles of justice, peace, and ethical conduct emphasized in both the Quran and Hadith. Islam promotes the idea of fairness, respect for others' rights, and peaceful coexistence. Engaging in aggressive actions, especially when it involves seizing land forcefully, contradicts these fundamental teachings.

The Quran, Islam's holy book, underscores the importance of justice and condemns oppression. In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:190-191), it is stated: "Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors. And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing."

This verse highlights the concept of self-defense and emphasizes proportionality in conflicts. Engaging in aggressive acts, such as forcibly taking land, without valid reasons like self-defense, is against the principles of justice as outlined in the Quran.

Additionally, the Hadith, which are the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), provide further guidance on ethical conduct. One well-known Hadith mentions, "None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself" (Bukhari, Book 2, Hadith 12). This golden rule emphasizes empathy and mutual respect, principles that are inconsistent with the act of forcefully seizing land from others.

Furthermore, the Quran emphasizes the importance of resolving conflicts through peaceful means. Surah An-Nisa (4:128) states, "And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them; and settlement is best."

This verse highlights the preference for peaceful negotiations and settlements over aggression and conflict. Applying this principle to the context of taking land, it implies that disputes over territory should be resolved through dialogue and negotiation rather than resorting to force.

Islam also places a strong emphasis on human rights and the protection of individuals and communities. The Quran acknowledges the diversity of humanity, stating in Surah Al-Hujurat (49:13), "O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted."

This verse underscores the value of diversity and encourages mutual understanding among different communities. Forcefully taking land disregards this principle by imposing one's will on others without regard for their rights, dignity, and diversity.

In the light of the aforementioned Quranic verses and Hadith, it is clear that Islam advocates for justice, peace, and ethical behavior. Forceful acquisition of land, especially when it involves aggression and injustice, is incompatible with these principles. Muslims are encouraged to seek peaceful resolutions, treat others with respect, and uphold the rights of individuals and communities.

Taking land by force can lead to severe consequences not only in the worldly sense but also in the spiritual realm. Islam teaches that individuals will be held accountable for their actions on the Day of Judgment, and unjust actions, including land seizure, may incur divine displeasure. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:205) mentions, "And when he goes away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption."

This verse warns against causing corruption in the land, a concept that extends to unjust actions such as forcefully taking land. Muslims are advised to avoid actions that contribute to corruption and instead strive for righteousness and justice.

Moreover, engaging in conflicts over land can lead to widespread harm and suffering. The Quran condemns the spreading of mischief and corruption on earth. Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:32) states, "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely."

This verse emphasizes the sanctity of human life and the severe consequences of causing harm or corruption in the land. Forceful acquisition of land often involves violence and harm, which contradicts the Quranic principles of preserving life and avoiding corruption.

Both the Quran and Hadith provide clear guidance on the ethical principles that Muslims should adhere to, including justice, peace, and respect for human rights. Forcefully taking land contradicts these principles and can lead to negative consequences both in this world and in the afterlife. Muslims are encouraged to seek peaceful resolutions, uphold justice, and treat others with fairness and compassion, following the teachings of Islam as outlined in the Quran and Hadith.
