Women and men, both human, each one has its essence, its particularity that differentiates it from the other, but at the same time, complements it, without having to do with dependence, but with the choice of sharing spaces, time, projects, dreams... a life.
A few days ago I spoke about my pride in being a woman; now it is the turn of men, to give them a look from their human side.
The actions of a man, or a group of them, do not determine the actions of all men, besides, I have always thought that values such as integrity, nobility, honesty, courage, humility... do not depend on gender, but on what is in the heart and mind of people.
Just as a man can be violent or a liar, women can also be violent or a liar, so I think it is unfair to label gender as such.
Since I was a child, the men who have surrounded me: my father, my brothers and now my husband and my son, are hard-working and honest people.
What I admired most about my father was just that, he worked tirelessly and never complained, also his work was demanding, because he was a mechanic, he must use a lot of strength and intelligence to solve each case. One of my brothers followed in his footsteps.
That is why the example of a man in his role as a father is very important for his children, they copy models.
Fortunately for me, my husband is very homely, he is a point of support for my day to day life. We follow a different model than the one I saw in my childhood, in which the housework corresponded to the wife and it was the husband who supplied the economic needs of the household. Now, at least in my case, we are both a team, there is no delimitation between tasks and responsibilities, everything is shared.
But men have unique characteristics, which make us women feel pleased to share our space with him, because otherwise, we can perfectly well be alone.
He gives us a sense of security, of stability, that we no longer need anyone else, it is as if together, we have everything we need to move forward.
That's why I think that men and women were perfectly designed to support each other, to bring our strengths to balance each other and support each other in difficult times.
And that man who seems strong and unchanging, also suffers, feels fear, makes mistakes; it's just that he manages his emotions differently than us who make a drama out of everything, because we are more emotional.
A man is capable of giving his life for a cause, for a love, for an ideal and has shown how talented he can through the years, which also applies to women 😁.
The world we live in, has needed both to build itself. There is a commercial that says something like "we are the energy that moves the world", although I don't remember what it's from, the thing is that's what we humans are, inside us there is a flame that keeps us going and trying to do our best part and yes, we make mistakes, and a lot, but we do the best we can, no one wants to fail in good conscience.
On the other hand I can see in my son so much nobility, that I perceive no greater challenge, than to try to preserve it as much as we can. Every man was once a child and what he is now is the result of his environment, of what he has lived.
So long live men! Sons, fathers, brothers, husbands, friends... humans.
