Many times we complain about superficial things and we don't stop to look around us, everything around us, is a blessing. How many people would not wish to have a roof and four walls to live in, a bed to sleep in, food on their table... to be able to walk, to see, to hear.
At this moment I am also grateful to have this PC where I am writing now and the Internet that allows me to stay connected with you day by day.
If I so choose, everything adds up, nothing subtracts. Being here, in spite of the fatigue, helps me to form my character, to be constant, disciplined and to achieve important goals for me.
I have read that most people want to achieve many things, but very few are willing to pay the price for them.
Seeing my children grow up full of health, joy and love, makes me feel that everything else is profit and I wish I could always be there for them, at least as long as they need me.
Sometimes, tragic thoughts invade me and I feel afraid of so many things, like not being there.... Life is so fragile. But then, I take a breath of faith to push them away, breathe, nourish myself with good energy and move forward, filling that space with gratitude, to leave no room for fear.
It is not always easy, but few things in life are, we are here to be better and that can only be achieved by getting out of our comfort zone. Every victory, no matter how small, is a reason to celebrate, because I could well not try, just stop fighting and let myself go with the flow, who knows where; but that is not an option for me, I believe that each of us has a light in our soul, that guides us and lets us know that where we are, is not the end of our path and that we must move forward.
And with these lines I say goodbye to my day, as long as it is good. God always provides us with everything we need, that makes me feel confident and calm. Even in difficult moments, I can feel that I am not alone and that is valuable to me.
