I busted into laughter upon seeing this contest. One man kept appearing on the scene, and reminiscing about the magic he performed kept me laughing🤣🤣.
Let me put it in the form of a story...
Worst teacher: Rate 2
We just entered SS1 and there was no stable mathematics teacher for us, the school management was rotating mathematics teachers for us from other sectors, like economics and geography teachers that knew a little bit of mathematics.
During the first term, they shifted Mr. Olu to us, a mathematics teacher though, but I don't know where he got the mathematical knowledge from
.
I think it was logarithms or indices that he taught us, but he did it the opposite way. We tried to correct him based on what we saw in the New General Mathematics textbook, but no way, he insisted that textbook is wrong.
Although we were to follow his principles due to the fact that he was the one teaching us and will be the one to mark our class works, homeworks, tests, and internal exams, but we, the "I too know" group decided to follow the textbook's pattern, and we end up getting a different final answers.
Were given an assignment on this topic to submit the next day, which we did with our "correct" procedures.
He marked the assignments and got angry at how everyone failed according to him, he came to class that day with up to six strong and dried cane.
Mehn, he flogged knowledge out of us that day. That was the day we saw a different side of him because he's the type that's always playful, but for that day, he used anger to wipe us out. From that day, we adopted his pattern and waved bye to the correct pattern.
When that term finished, they brought us another mathematics teacher, a female, to continue from where the previous teacher left off. We tried to give her the procedure of the previous teacher, but she said no, that the previous teacher was wrong.
So that means the previous teacher flogged us that day when we were right😭.
Another terrible teacher I had was from my third-level in higher institution. I'll give him Rate 2 because he acted like a devil's junior brother.
This man was all about sorting, and he took us through a very core engineering course and made everything difficult for us because he wants us to always sort out the exams and tests with money.
Yes, he's well learned, he knows the course, but he always boasts about not teaching us well, so that we might as well bribe him... and he usually succeeds because 98% of the class sorts him, leaving very few of us that fight to get 50 marks in all (a passing grade).

I understand and enjoy anything about physics and Mathematics today because of Mr. Otutu. He's just too good.
He knows how to explain the Mathematical invincible terms to reality...making us to feel and touch Mathematics.
To me, I feel he's the most intelligent teacher I've met because I think anyone explaining things in an understandable pattern knows it better than "note, note, note" teachers.
I should have given him 10 ratings, but he flogs badly too, especially when he's angry. He does that whenever he's collecting tuition or lesson fees. Yeah, he was in charge, and his sight used to scare us.
It seems all mathematics teachers are good at flogging.
