Hurricane Ian is expected to hit my area of Orlando sometime this week (most likely Wednesday or Tuesday). My family is currently preparing for the storm while also looking for home buyers since we're selling the place too.
Bad timing with everything going on, but that's Florida for you. We went to the store earlier in the week to get some perishables because we had already stocked up on non-perishables just in case we lose power. Some bread, some packaged snacks, and some drinks (like soda). Every year we go through this, but of course, every year we're always prepared. This time we didn't need to frantically go out and buy what we needed for food and water. We just bought some snacks and small things.
We did kind of delay in buying fuel for the truck we got, which was quite annoying because not many fuel stations had "Regular" fuel, luckily we were able to find one that did. We are not too worried, as we've been through many hurricanes not just here in Florida but also in Puerto Rico.
Wish us luck and share your blessings with us! Please support Florida anyway you can after the storm. Cheers and much love!
