Hello everybody,
This morning I was happy because the fish vendor passed by. For two weeks she did not sell fish because of the gloomy weather. I missed her fresh fish. Today, I choose the flying fish because I like the taste of this fish. I decided to cook some of the fish into soup then the rest keep in the fridge.
I right away harvested some moringa leaves in our garden. Timing I have all the ingredients needed the tomatoes, ginger, onion leaves, black pepper powder, sea salt and some malavar spinach or alugbati we call in our dialect.
This kind of soup we call it "hulog-hulog " meaning to drop because we just need to boil the water then when boiling you just drop the ingredients. To achieve a yummy soup my mother taught me this way. Boil the water first then drop the ginger and the tomotoes must be whole.
When the tomotoes are soft, mashed it.
And, dropped it together with the fish, dropped the salt to taste. When boiling dropped the moringa, boil for 3 minutes dropped the malavar spinach and green onion leaves and the black pepper powder.
The flying fish soup is done! When serving I separate the soup, the fish and the vegetables.
That is all folks for today. May you like my super simply soup. Thanks for dropping by...
