Take some moment to look at how wide the sky is. Is it possible for birds to collide with each other while flying? No! It hasn't happened before and it can never happen. No matter how the birds are flying in their numbers, they will always have room to fly without hindering or disturbing one another.
This is a confirmation that we have distinct and unique talents, skills, strengths, abilities and expertises which will thrive to its full potentials without engaging in unhealthy competitions with ourselves or trying to bring another person down just to ensure that we get to the top.
We often fail to realize that we are unique and we can survive even if we have people that do the same thing that we do. We need to embrace healthy competitions rather than unhealthy one. This will make us see the benefits of collaborating with others rather than seeing them as a threat to our success.
Unhealthy rivalry begin to become an issue when we feel insecure about the progress of our colleague or friend. You feel his or her business is doing fine at the expense of yours then you begin to worry and even find ways to bring him down. It is certain that if you think bad towards your fellow man, it may be quite difficult to succeed too. Why not channel all the energy to building your business, academics or whatever you are doing or even join forces together to achieve same results.

A tree does not make a forest, therefore we should not be afraid to join others to work hand-in-hand to walk through the path of success.
