Smile More, Eat Better, Live Healthy

Living Healthy needs to be the priority of everyone's life, because if there is good health then there is good life. I do keep writing about the importance of good health very often, because in my own family I have seen many health disasters. Some people eat well, but then their other lifestyle habits are not good and that also impacts the quality of life. Our lifestyle habits have a direct impact on our mood. Just for e.g. the nights when my sleep is disturbed or I do not get sufficient sleep then I see that my whole of next day goes gloomy or grumpy.

So many people live life mindlessly, not bothered about what they feel mentally, emotionally. Are those emotions right or not? There is no time for reflection. We live in a fast paced world where we have something or the other to do all the time, in which we ignore our own-self. We have to earn, take care of our home, family, everything and taking care of our-self takes a back seat.

I sometimes wonder, majority of the people spend their time on doing things for others, and those others also do the same. Instead, why can each one not take care of their own-selves. I am not saying you should be selfish. There are times when you will not have an option. For e.g. when a baby is small the mother takes care of the baby by devoting all her time, but when the child grows up, she has to shift her attention towards herself and still not keep worrying about the child. Specially Indian mothers, they are all the time worries about their children, no matter whatever age they are of.

In my sister's home, she is a single parent. All her life she has taken care of her 2 daughters. At one point of time she had no choice but to devote herself completely to them. Now the girls are grown up, and also started working, but my sister is not yet relieved, she is worried about their higher education, their marriage and all of that and she still refuses to give herself priority. Such is the case of many people.

Life needs to be lived for own self also and make sure that you feel good, you are happy, you are healthy. There should be enough reasons to smile for in life. If you are not a priority for your own-self then you should think about it and take it seriously. After all it's one life for everyone here and it needs to be worth living.
