How we start the day matters........

There are times when we wake up with some mood it can be a very happy and very cheerful mood, or a grumpy mood and then that sets the mood for the day. When we wake up with a cheerful mood, we notice that the rest of the day also goes very happy and bright and when we wake up with a grumpy mood the day can go chaotic and sad. It's important to build up that energy before we open our eyes. We do not pay attention to how we wake up, for many people they wake up with a jerk on the sound of the alarm and then immediately check the mobile phone and never focus on the energy of the start of the day. That mobile phone may have some message which may not be very positive and that can upset the whole energy of the day.

Ideally before opening our eyes, we should spend time mentally with ourself in setting that cheerful mood for ourself. Even if we wake up on an alarm, make a mental note to keep the eyes shut and spend some time with self. It may not be much, just 1 to 2 minutes. Say some positive affirmations, think of good things which would give positive vibes, this will help to build up the energy for the day. Try this and you will see how it makes a difference in the energy level throughout the day.

Morning energy is the most important one, it would be nothing like if we can extend that 1 to 2 minutes to 5 to 10 minutes and do some breathing and stretching exercises before getting out of the bed. These practices will not only set the mood for the day but also make a difference to the health in a long run. For me the morning breathing exercise is very important. I like to have some plants around my bedside, because when I open my eyes and look at their fresh green energy it makes me happy. Sometimes it happens that the dreams of the night have not been pleasant and when we wake up, they are still on the mind. In such times it's all the more important to rewire the brain with a boost of positive thoughts.

Bringing a little mindfulness in our little actions of life will boost the life in many big ways.
