FULL INTERVIEW: Dr Jordan Peterson sits down with Piers Morgan

PM: What do you think the biggest threat to mankind is?

JP: Narcissistic compassion.

And a few minutes later, he gets very emotional while articulating the real compassion needed in this dreadful world.

JP: It's really something to see constantly how many people are dying for a lack of an encouraging word. And how easy it is to provide that, if you're careful. You know, give credit where credit is due and to say,"you're a net force for good if you want to be."

JP: I thought the marginalized were supposed to have a voice!

For some reason, this reminded me of a conversation I had, many years ago, with a psychoanalyst friend. She described what she saw as the tragedy of millions, nay billions, of minds trapped in their incomprehension.

With so many triggered flakes, even the word "trigger" has become a weapon, when in fact it can also be a key.
