Sleep disturbances can cause mental and physical exhaustion. The ups and downs of life have a way of drawing us into a state of unease. We toss and turn, our minds preoccupied and our consciences aching. Those who are overworked may find it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Even if we may enjoy a great night's sleep, finances, unfulfilled promises, health issues, and interpersonal conflicts can destroy it.

Lack of sleep impairs your ability to retain knowledge, makes you impatient, makes it difficult for you to think effectively, and looks tired. Insufficient sleep disrupts the usual functioning of brain cells, potentially leading to a loss of moral composure and rash actions. When you don't get enough sleep, you become emotionally fragile and physiologically prone to illnesses, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. A body without of sleep feels sick and restless.

On the other hand, peaceful sleep is experienced by those who have a prayerful mindset. Jesus' bodily slumber under a ferocious storm was a sign of His faith in His heavenly Father. Although there is a continuous relationship with Christ, this does not mean that you are always in a state of spiritual trance. You want to pursue prayer all the time (I Thessalonians 5:17 KJV). Praying with righteous allegiances to the Almighty defeats the enemy-caused insomnia.

Anxious people are unable to entirely and continuously lay their anxieties on Christ, according to I Peter 5:7 KJV, and are therefore free from anxiety. You become adept at asking the Lord for direction and, if required, help with your worries and aspirations. The Savior is in charge, as a sound sleep announces. Think of your bedtime as time spent in prayer and fellowship with God. It is possible for Him to realign your unconscious thinking with His while you are asleep. In the same way that a computer's defragment eliminates inefficiencies, he replaces your flawed reasoning with correctly reasoning.
