The story of Bitcoin is truly a curious one, where a decentralized digital currency came about because an anonymous nerd on a forum came up with a response to controversial policies taken by the American government for decades. I don't know if I can consider Satoshi a genius, but the way his idea became popular and took on proportions never seen before in a project of this type was a milestone for the entire global economy.
However, this article is right, at least in parts. The absence of a clear link between a wallet and its holder, unless he makes no effort to hide himself, allows several creative scams to be created with cryptocurrencies, which tarnish the image of the community. There's not much to do, to be honest, but it's still sad.
But, for someone who is already involved in the crypto world, many points are clearer, such as, for example, the fact that state money has been used for thousands of years to commit as many crimes as these, and that cryptocurrencies did not emerge to solve this problem, but rather to solve excessive state control, then the problem of criminals will continue to occur, just as it already occurs today with state currencies. Of course, there are initiatives to combat this, but it is not a problem that will be eradicated so quickly, and we have to be aware of that.

A história do Bitcoin é realmente curiosa, onde uma moeda digital descentralizada surgiu porque um nerd anônimo em um fórum apareceu com uma resposta às políticas controversas tomadas pelo governo americano por décadas. Não sei se posso considerar Satoshi como um gênio, porém a forma como sua ideia se popularizou e tomou proporções nunca antes vistas em um projeto desse tipo foram um marco para toda a economia global.
Entretanto, este artigo está certo, pelo menos em partes. A ausência de ligação clara entre uma carteira e seu portador, a menos que ele não faça nenhum esforço para se ocultar, permite que sejam criados vários golpes criativos com criptomoedas, que mancham a imagem da comunidade. Não tem muito o que fazer, para falar a verdade, mas não deixa de ser triste.
Porém, para alguém que já está inserido no mundo cripto, muitos pontos são mais claros, como, por exemplo, o fato de que o dinheiro estatal é usado há milhares de anos para cometer tantos crimes quanto estes, e que as criptomoedas não surgiram para resolver esse problema, mas sim para resolver o excesso de controle estatal, então o problema de criminosos continuará ocorrendo, assim como hoje já ocorre com moedas estatais. Claro que existem iniciativas para realizar esse combate, porém não é um problema que será erradicado tão rapidamente, e temos que estar cientes disso.
