There are moments when whistleblowers get entitled to momentary benefits and this serves as a good motivation for a good number of people to take that bold step towards unmasking any misconduct going on in their working environment. Other times, people get into whistleblowing to satisfy their conscience and promote standard practice in their working environment.
People fundamentally blow the whistle for several reasons, and when it is followed up accordingly by the right authorities, whistleblowing can turn out to be a very useful tool which can help keep organisations on their toes because they never really know who is watching.
There have been claims and sufficient evidence to back up the fact that the framework for whistleblowing is becoming counterproductive.
That's something worth looking at, right?
As far as I can tell, things seem to be going wrong in several organisations in several countries and only few whistleblowers are stepping up to say shit about those things. The reason is fairly obvious... Those who are honest have noticed that saying the truth will only land them in trouble, and not everyone can afford to pay that price for saying the truth.
This is surely the case in my part of the world. How is the whole whistleblowing culture in your part of the world?

Hay momentos en los que los denunciantes tienen derecho a beneficios momentáneos y esto sirve como una buena motivación para que un buen número de personas den ese paso audaz para desenmascarar cualquier mala conducta que ocurra en su entorno laboral. Otras veces, las personas se involucran en la denuncia de irregularidades para satisfacer su conciencia y promover prácticas estándar en su entorno de trabajo.
Las personas fundamentalmente denuncian por varias razones, y cuando las autoridades competentes hacen un seguimiento adecuado, la denuncia de irregularidades puede convertirse en una herramienta muy útil que puede ayudar a mantener a las organizaciones alerta porque nunca saben realmente quién está mirando.
Ha habido denuncias y pruebas suficientes para respaldar el hecho de que el marco para la denuncia de irregularidades se está volviendo contraproducente.
Eso es algo que vale la pena mirar, ¿verdad?
Por lo que puedo decir, las cosas parecen estar saliendo mal en varias organizaciones en varios países y solo unos pocos denunciantes están dando un paso al frente para decir una mierda sobre esas cosas. La razón es bastante obvia... Aquellos que son honestos se han dado cuenta de que decir la verdad solo los llevará a tener problemas, y no todos pueden pagar ese precio por decir la verdad.
