A Fun Evening

Thursday evening my weekend starts and I have to step out of the house. Over the weekends I have to be out of the house, I do not like being home. Last evening we had to meet a friend who has been unwell and returned from hospital after a angioplasty. He is a young guy and it's sad to see him having these heart issues. This is the third time in the last 3 years that he had to do angioplasty. Now the doctor has advised him a very strict diet and lifestyle if he wants to keep himself safe.

After meeting him, me and hubby were deciding where to have our dinner. Normally Thursday and Friday dinner is out somewhere for us. I wanted something different then my usual Indian cuisine which I most of the time prefer to have. I remembered of this restaurant called Pavo Real which I had been some 4 years back, they serve latin cuisine in there and it was a nice experience when I had last gone there. Hubby also agreed to it, and we reached there. When we reached there we could hear some loud music from another restaurant which is together with this one. The main entrance is one, and then it divides into 2 restaurant, one is the Pavo Real and the another is the Irishman.

The music that was being played seemed to be very groovy, I told hubby let's go to Irishman instead of Pavo and he was ok. Normally whatever I suggest he is ok with that....haha. As we entered it was quite a vibe out there, people were dancing, there was live music and the place looked fun. It was crowded, so we were not sure if we would get a place to sit. Luckily at the same time we reached a table got empty and we got a place to sit right next to the band.

After that me and hubby were on a roll, we ordered drinks, food and later danced to the music. I had an amazing time. It was not planned and happened all of a sudden so it was all the more fun.

That's a typical Irish pub scene, In Mumbai also we have one and it's got a similar type of set up

I would likely check that place out if I was in the area! I am part Irish (I have read that a large portion of the world has some Irish in them actually) and would probably enjoy the atmosphere there, if I were visiting India. Not that India isn't a great place, it's just that I would probably be ready for something familiar by that point! The décor and food looks fairly authentic. Nice : )

That's always the case, even when I travel to places, I do like to explore them and at the same time I am looking up for some Indian connection just to feel a little cozy and comfortable in that city with the local touch
