This year is already coming to an end and I'm trying hard to wrap up every little thing that has been keeping me busy because I want to be able to relax my mind and get some rest during this festive season. Also, I want to get things together and prepare myself for the adventure of 2024 and what it will throw on my path.
That sure counts as "a lot" in my books and I've been doing a lot of thinking, planning, and implementation, as I take steps towards hitting my goals. The Dreamer of the Year prompts we've been getting have also been quite helpful and instrumental as it has helped to keep me pumped and I noticed that the prompts we've worked on so far have helped me reignite my passion.
Since I'm already worn out with my work for today and I'm trying hard to not breakdown for what's left of this year, I suggest you go check out this post where I talked about my DREEM Space. No need to bother if you've already checked that.
The big question is; how is the whole thing going? What are the plans I've already kick-started? What are the results I'm getting?
To be fair, most of my goals are edged towards improving my Finances and I've been able to create sub-goals that will help me achieve the bigger goal I'm chasing.
Just recently, I started to get into X to grow my profile over there and it has been an interesting adventure. Hive is big enough to keep us excited and it's already as interesting as it can get with more exciting stuff that is still in the build-up. However, the idea of going outside Hive is something I've thought of on several occasions.
There are some projects I'm already involved in which will benefit more from my growth on both Web2 and Web3. There are also some projects I want to run in 2024 and my research has shown that gaining as much traction as possible will do the project good.
I'm also working hard on networking but this is something I'm very careful about because I'm not going to be known as someone desperate enough to drag his reputation through the mud just because I want to get connected with someone, a community, or a project. Nah! It's too much of a risk to take and it's a naive approach to take for someone like myself who's trying to build something for the long-term.
As it stands, I'm more interested in Networking through value creation... Not just because of the time I offer.
I've been able to do that but I may have to hold back on some collabs because my schedule has become tight and I've already decided that let go of my little gains from some projects to be more focused on others which aligns with my long-term goals.
On the Financial front, I've had to make really big expenses this year and the expenses are running in millions (Nigerian Currency). I made up my mind this week to try and work on my HBD savings and I've already kicked that off.
I plan to be getting a decent monthly interest from my savings before the second half of next year. I also want to boost my HP and I have an upcoming contest which I'm working on running and there will be a huge HP delegation for the winners. Talks about that is pending, but I would like to have everything set before the year sees its end. More update about that will be published soon. The same applies with updates about collab partners.
I've invested on some RWAs which will make it easier for me to make my dreams a reality. I won't be digging deep into those right now, but you will likely get to know about it later.
