There are a lot of unpleasant incidents of cancel culture which is hitting a lot of folks who have grown a huge audience for themselves as podcast hosts or hosts of talk shows. Some of them get de-platformed when they say things that are considered offensive.
Just to avoid getting censored for saying stuff, a lot of talk show hosts have decided to hold themselves back from expressing themselves the way they want. They also cut off their guests once they notice that their guests are beginning to hit the spot on topics that the feds don't want people to be exposed to.
Well, I love watching talk shows and I enjoy listening to hosts and guests have an interesting discussion, interview, or debate about topics. As far as they don't give a damn about the feds and censorship and all, I listen. However, once they start trying to be too careful of what they are saying or when they talk over each other in their attempt to hide the truth, I turn off the channel.
So, here's the question;
If I had my talk show, who would I like to interview? Why them? And what would I ask them on the show?
I already said I'm a sucker for talk shows. Well, the guests I would like to have on board if I had my talk show are people who have proven themselves as folks who act in accordance with what they preach. They first say things without being scared of what anyone thinks and they are not just talker... They do the work.
People like;
David Goggins
Mike Tyson
Jordan Peterson
Candace Owens
Joe Rogan
Patrick Bet-David
Elon Musk, etc.
I've listened to these folks talk and I've seen how they carry themselves while discussing topics that are relevant to them. One thing I know for sure is that I have great respect for them and that doesn't mean I completely agree with everything they say or do. I respect what they have been through in life. I respect their current struggles. I respect the unwavering stance they take when they have an opinion to make. Also, I respect the successful life they are living.
Jordan Peterson in particular has been censored on several platforms and he even had a couple of legal battles that he intensely faced in Canada. That wasn't enough to shut him up. He's someone that a lot of people try to lay traps for when he comes to their show and I've seen him use the truth and his intellectual prowess to get several "gotcha moments" when he's faced with hosts who want to paint him as a "privileged white man". Haha.
Did y'all see the interview Elon had in December when he told the advertisers to "Go F Yourself"?
Wait. I need to fetch that clip...
Elon isn't the most likeable human and I'm not only interested in having the most likeable folks on my talk show when I run one. Even if we don't agree on the same thing, as long as you are willing to say stuff without sugarcoating it, I will gladly have a conversation with you.
That's it, folks.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
