Off the back of seeing the end of a rather eventful year, we are already celebrating the beginning of a New Year. I see a lot of people who are celebrating the New Year with so much excitement and I'm genuinely glad for that. It's good to be around people who are experiencing positive emotions.
Very soon, the whole New Year vibe will start to die down. We will get a reality check real soon and I've already received that check when I went shopping for the physical assets which I will invest in making my working space more comfortable. I looked into getting a better office chair and I also looked into getting a bigger Power Bank with a stronger mAh.
Most of the work I do are online and I know I will be doing a lot more of those this year. If you've tried sitting down for hours each day, you will notice that sitting isn't a trivial exercise. It's not the hardest thing to do, but I'm not just sitting around doing nothing. Whenever I sit in my working space, I get into my grind and I break myself in half. I did this for hours until I started to notice that I was experiencing back pain.
I care about the work I do and I care about my health too. Just to be sure that I'm getting myself ready for the adventure that awaits me this year, I decided to spend a fortune on an office chair. I got something better than the last two chairs I used and I started working with it last night. Something about the chair feels different and I enjoy that.
I spent #53,500 on the chair. The 50000mah Power Bank which I will be getting is valued at #41000. That means that I'm already starting the adventure of this year by spending 200k Naira on things that I like to see as an investment in the work I do.
Now, my mind is ready for what 2024 has in store for me. I don't know how the year is going to be and I have no clue about the challenges I will be facing. However, I'm all in for the adventure.
