An Afternoon Stroll At Il Curso, Cebu

My friend and i decided to meet at Il Curso one fine afternoon. It's actually my first time visiting this place although i've heard that it has a peaceful vibes perfect for strolling or jogging. It's also near the riverside so people can enjoy the view too. I bet the view is more beautiful during the night.

This mall has been a construction in progress for several years now. I remember during college days, my siblings, who were then in elementary and high school, went to Il Curso to watch a movie as a class requirement. Until now, most of the establishment here are still close. So we stroll around for a bit.

The weather was getting hot so we decided to lounge in a cafe to make use of their aircon. We dine at Luminous Cafe, the only cafe open during that time. The interior of the place is filled with lush green. Accompanied with jazz music, this place is perfect for catching up with friends, finishing work, or simply have some me-time.

We ordered their pasta in bolognese sauce and truffle mushroom pizza. For the drinks, i opted for brewed coffee since i only slept for a few hours the night before and my friend ordered a cold chocolate drink. We didn't expect the serving to be huge so we almost didn't finish the dishes. My favorite is their truffled mushroom pizza because i find it unique that it has no meat but is still very tasty.

We were so full from the sumptuous meal so we decided to walk around a bit more. The fresh breezy air really made our stroll perfect. The only downside in going to Il Curso is that there are a very few taxi cabs passing by and the internet is quite slow. But overall, it was a memorable experience. I can't wait to visit Il Curso again when the mall is fully finished!
