Walking Down The Street Like A Full-Blooded Adult

I stopped by Cebu Aeronautical Technological School located on Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines because I was looking for something I really needed. Those college students on the first photo are students of CAT.

I passed by the pedestrian lane and walked towards the opposite lane to walk around and ask the stores for the thing I needed the most today. First, I went to three sixty pharmacy. Although it may seem odd to look for this in the pharmacy, these pharmacies here in the Philippines offers household needs so therefore, I thought it would be available here as well.

From the three sixty pharmacy Lahug area, I walked heading towards where the 7/11 is. It is just a five minute walk.

7/11 Signage Is Peaking

As I walked in the street, I saw the signage and I know I have almost arrived in my destination. There were a lot of people walking along with me and the majority were students from CAT. I love to go on walks especially when it is during the afternoon because it is refreshing. Being able to see a lot of people and pass by buildings and establishments. I enjoy walking even if I am just walking alone by myself.

7/11 AVC Building, Lahug,Cebu City

This is the 7/11 at the AVC Building in Lahug, Cebu City. Like the usual 7/11 it has a convenience store inside, an ATM machine and a machine for electronic transactions.

Beside 7/11 is Rose Pharmacy. The building is massive and their is also an inn and an apartment on the upper level.

So what is it that I really needed?

I was looking for some shoes glue. Glad I found this Mighty Bond Shoes Glue that I was in need of.

The price of the shoes glue was one hundred plus, I forgot the change but it was nothing above one hundred fifty. I did not had cash and their Gcash was down at the moment so I had to withdraw some cash to pay this Mighty Bond Shoes Glue.

My Favorite Sandals Need A Little Fixing

This is my favorite sandals from CLN. It was in need of repair and it just needs a little bit of shoes glue and it is gonna be fine. Problem fixed.

While I was in the midst of fixing my favorite sandals, I had so much running in my mind.

𑁍 Why did I bother to fix this when I can buy new sandals for myself?

𑁍 Why am I patiently still using this when I can purchase the latest CLN designs?

If there is one thing ADULTING has taught me, it is to always save up for the rainy season. That doesn’t mean you have the money to buy it, you’ll have to buy it. I am hustling hard at work and of course, I can afford to buy myself some new pair of sandals from my favorite brand but you know what is stopping me? There are a lot of things I need to prioritize over such things. If something is still functional, might as well use it first before fully opting to buy new ones.

First off, ADULTING is such a bittersweet journey but if there is one thing I learned that really hit me hard, is that you have to help yourself because no one is gonna do it for you. My gosh, I’m just 25 but feeling like 35 for getting stressed out so much with this adulting thing.

Have you noticed these days that once your 1000 pesos gets changed, it is all gone? Things right now are very all the products and all the services are getting more and more expensive.
Inflation is evident these days and everything seems to be increasing, but never the salaries. (sighs)

It is a hard job to do budgeting; that is why I always work so hard and hustle at work myself. I have many needs and wants, and I provide them all to myself. Sometimes, I spoil myself and buy the things I need or want, even if I don't need them. Sometimes I admit that I am an indecisive buyer, and I tend to buy anything I want as long as I have the money.

But as time went by, I realized that that is not a good practice because you cannot just work so hard to get money but spend it in just one blink of an eye. Lately, I realized that if something is still usable or if something is still functional, I will not replace it. Or maybe I just love that there are still means to keep things as much as possible. I would want to let it stay that way.

After fixing my sandals, I then walked headed towards work because this area is just near Cebu IT Park as to where my work place is. So I just walked heading towards work. With my NEWly repaired pair of sandals. Lol.

Another adulting thing we do is head to work. Lol😂. As I was walking heading toward work, I saw that the Don Macchiatos store was open. They sell refreshing drinks of different flavors all for thirty nine pesos.

The flavors available here in Don Macchiatos are : Iced Caramel Macchiatos, Don Matchatos , Don Darko and Donya Berry which was sold out as of the moment, all the four flavors for ₱39.00 each. Affordable, isn't it?

Got Myself A Matcha Drink!

Located near Ucma Village, this store is always bustling with customers, attracted by its fresh and delicious flavors that come at an affordable price. On my way to work, I enjoyed my favorite matcha drink from this store, which is a close contender to the pink drink I usually order from Starbucks.

As I walk towards work, I reached the corner where I turn left to enter Cebu IT Park. On the way, I passed by the new Filinvest Tower which is still under construction. It could possibly be the Filinvest Towers three and four. Currently, we are in Filinvest Tower Two, and the building next to us is Filinvest Tower One. This might be Filinvest Tower Three and Four, situated in Cebu IT Park, I'm not sure but I think it could be. The ongoing construction and development in the city are quite evident.

Cebu City is more than just a city; it offers plenty of job opportunities and attracts tourists, both local and international. If you plan to visit the city, make sure to explore Cebu IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines. There is a lot to discover here, including BPO companies, a mall which is the Ayala Central Bloc mall, various restaurants, hotels, condominiums, bars, and leisure places where you can unwind and enjoy happy hour.

The road leading to Cebu IT Park is bustling with activity. As I walked in the gutter, there were many students, employees, and other people going in and out of the area. The road is quite busy, with a lot of vehicles passing by. Despite the hustle and bustle, it only takes about 5 minutes to reach my workplace and I enjoy walking along this route when I see many people.

I walked pass by Quick Stop, Domino’s Pizza, Bo’s Coffee, Chowking, Bubble Tea Station, then I will reach the entrance of my workplace, The Filinvest Cyberzone Tower 2.

I then headed to the 20th floor where my office is located. Time to hustle and bustle once again. Hope you had a productive walk like me. Ciao!☺︎♡
