Keep your attention on gaining material stuff if you'd rather be surrounded by spotless items of little worth than by the remnants of joyful, passionate experiences. If not, try worrying about things that touch you rather than obsessing over things you can touch. Every one of us has a different passion that makes us feel alive. You must locate it and keep it lighted.
Don't entirely give up your life for your livelihood, whatever you do. Enjoy the gifts that money cannot purchase. Make a commitment to yourself to remain faithful to your passions, principles, and purpose. Allow your heart and mind to cooperate. Do everything is necessary to ensure that occurs many moons from now, you can reflect on your life, take one last breath, and grin openly.
Avoiding risk entails also avoiding life.
When the time comes for us to pass away, let's not find out that we have never lived, as Henry David Thoreau famously stated.
The risk of living. The risk of happiness. You're not doing it well if you're not occasionally a little afraid. Worry about what you're losing up when you don't even try instead of worrying about mistakes and failures. As you merely dwell in the security of your comfort zone, worry about the life you're not living and the happiness you're foregoing. Give yourself permission to be one of the people who endured doing things incorrectly, who made errors but overcame them to become their real selves.
The largest issues you face are frequently mental.
The actual situation is seldom the main factor in dissatisfaction and failure, but rather your thoughts about it. Success and contentment mostly depend on two factors: how you think and how you behave in response to those thoughts.
When people begin to believe that they are capable of great things right now without the need for anything else, they start to become really pretty extraordinary. When you have self-confidence, you have discovered the first secret to success. Finding your path often involves looking at familiar areas in novel ways rather than travelling to new places. Once you do, you'll understand that the only distinction between stepping stones and obstacles is how you use them.
You won't have everyone's backing.
You will be hurt for the rest of your life if you take personally every taunt or unpleasant remark made by another individual. One of the most liberating lessons we receive in life is that we don't have to share everyone else's opinions, and that's okay. I'm not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you're not in this world to live up to mine, as Bruce Lee famously remarked. Be guided by this saying. Don't let other people's perspectives cause you to forget it. The world is yours for the taking once you have mastered the skill of NOT viewing yourself through the eyes of another.
