A few weeks back our office organized a movie night for staff. I have been working from home for a while so I have no accommodation around Colombo. The day before the movie night, I went to the office for some sessions, hence it was pretty difficult for me to go for the movie night as well.
So I was planning to have an alternative movie night with Harih. It was a sudden though on the same day evening so we had to arrange it quicker. We planned to create some mini burgers, mini donuts, and toasted bread for the movie time.
As I was a little bit free that day, I quickly went through some YouTube videos and prepared the dough for the burger. My plan was to use the same to the donuts ;). We started preparing the dough early and kept it for some time.
In the evening we baked smaller-sized buns. We used the Air Fryer to bake buns and donuts. We prepared a filling with seasoned chicken, onions, tomato, and cheese.
Sandwiches are also made with scrambled egg and chicken filling. After all, I prepared Juice with sunquick.
While the office people having their movie night we also started to watch a movie sitting comfortably on our couch and enjoying the food we made by our own.

That was a joyful Friday after all.
While they ate pizza at the office, in the comfort of your home you ate homemade mini hamburgers.
Having moments of relaxation is a way to pamper yourself, and even more so if it is a movie that we like so much.

I hope the movie was of the suspense or horror genre, observing the photos I can notice that the gastronomy for their meetings is very different from that of us Venezuelans. Generally they are usually pasapalos based on flour (Tequeños), other times disproportionate hamburgers like the one in the photo, and I believe that very few times we meet without having some alcoholic beverage (when they are adults). I hope the reunion was a good time.

Anytime I use YouTube to prepare a meal, It always end up in a bad note.... rvbbish 😆😆
