In this life, you have to work; People mistake earning money as if money is the root of all evil. Money is nothing more than a medium of exchange, such as paper currency. Even when you barter for different goods, you're exchanging value, like apples for oranges. That value doesn't stem from labor but instead from how someone values what you have, whether for money or other products, like food, paper currency, metals (gold, silver), tools, etc. When you work, you produce value, and what you get from it is a final product or currency for your labor. People decide how much that product is worth, whether or not you have put thousands of hours into that labor or just one.
It's up to you to create more value for the world and your family. Don't strive to be rich, but instead be valuable for your family, your community, and society. When you view yourself as just another worker, it demoralizes you; think of yourself as a valuable member of society because you are.
I was just having a similar conversation with my husband. Very true! I would much rather be rich in loved ones and experiences then in anything monetary :)
Nice keep it up.
