For the past few days I've been living without electricity because of some irresponsible happenings from someone who was supposed to handle it (not me). Now, don't feel bad for us here at the house, whenever a hurricane passes by we sometimes end up without any electricity for a few days.
Everytime I've lived without electricity, it humbles me greatly. Yet, the humbling experience is just a small aspect of it, when this happens I like to think of different ways to pass the time or just create something when there's no electricity. This time, I'm still not feeling too well to be out to make something, but I've been keeping my mind a little busy with some random thoughts about renewable energy or making life easier without modern electricity.
Things like an automatic irrigation system to water the plants without typical electricity. Stuff like that is what really gets my mind going. Although it is a bummer that I'll be out of electricity for another few days, it's still a great time to ponder on some future plans to make situations like this a little easier.
