▶️Derek did not tell his viewers about his health problems, and did not tell his family about his YouTube channel. He died on Saturday (16 Dec 2023) at the age of 48. I was blessed to have known him for 15 years, and connect with his grieving, wonderful family upon his passing. They were amazed and thrilled to hear that he had reached so many people, and was able to put his unique mind to use helping others. My gratitude goes out to them for giving us Derek, and for allowing me to use the 2 family photos seen in this tribute video.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad our card reached him before he passed. I knew him even less than you because I didn't chat with him, but I will miss hearing him speak. His voice in the background is iconic of some great times. It is a huge loss for someone so with so much integrity and so kind, intelligent as EndlessMountin to leave us. A fallen soldier. RIP Derek.

Sucks when you have so few friends, and they keep dying. I made a lot of them back in the 2008-2012 days, before things ere so censored. Haven't been able to meet many good people (other than yourself and a select few others) in recent years.

Personally, I am moved to see how you value good friends even beyond their death. It is not every day that those who are no longer are remembered with love and gratitude; sadly most forget them instantly. I admire you for that.
