And now it's all about the azalea =/= Und nun alles auf die Azalee 👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

Some blossoms go and others come. Fortunately, spring is far from over after the end of the cherry blossom and there are other flowers and blossoms that know how to delight us these days. It's azalea season and, as in previous years, we took a short trip to a park that we already know well. On a rather steep slope, a whole battery of azalea bushes bloom in a wide variety of colors, which is a very inviting sight even from a distance.

But of course it looks best up close, and you are rewarded for the short but rather sweaty climb. Whether red, white or pink, it looked great once again and we were glad that we had taken the opportunity to visit this place again this year. The weather was almost summer-like, and it seems that spring is in quite a hurry to hand over the baton. Although I personally would prefer to take it a little easier and stay in the here and now, and therefore in May, for a bit longer. But it's probably not just the part of the world I'm currently visiting that has the problem of ever shorter springs. At least I hear the same complaints from my home country.

Die einen Blüten gehen und die anderen kommen. Glücklicherweise ist der Frühling nach dem Ende der Kirschblüte noch lange nicht vorbei und es gibt auch noch anderen Blumen und Blüten, die uns in diesen Tagen zu begeistern wissen. Gerade ist Azaleenzeit, und wie in den letzten Jahren auch, haben wir einen kleine Ausflug in einen uns nun schin gut bekannten Park gemacht. Auf einem doch recht steilen Hang blüht eine ganze Batterie von Azaleenbüschen in den verschiedensten Farben, was bereits von Weitem ein sehr einladener Anblick ist.

Aber natürlich sieht es aus der Nähe am besten aus, und man wird für den zwar kurzen aber doch recht schweißtreibenden Anstieg belohnt. Ob Rot, Weiß oder Pink, es sah wieder mal gut aus und wir waren froh, dass wir auch in diesem Jahr die Chance für einen Besuch hier genutzt hatten. Das Wetter war fast sommerlich, und es scheint, dass der Frühling es in diesem Jahr recht eilig hat, das Zepter des Handeln wieder abzugeben. Obwohl ich es persönlich lieber etwas ruhiger angehen würde und erst noch ein wenig im Hier und Jetzt, und damit im Mai verweilen möchte. Aber das Problrm mit immer kürzeren Frühlingen hat wohl nicht nur der Teil der Erde, wo ich derzeit gastieren. Zumindest aus meiner Heimat höre ich die selben Klagen.

But at least the warm temperatures ensured that a large proportion of the azalea bushes were in bloom. As I had learned, there are two types of azalea in this park, tsutsuji and satsuki. The tsutsuji azaleas were already in bloom but the satsuki bushes make their grand entrance a little later. When the flowers in one part of the park start to fall off, things really get going in the other part. The garden planner has thought things through here.

Aber zumindest haben die warmen Temperaturen dafür gesorgt, dass ein großer Teil der Azaleenbüsche am Blühen war. Wie ich gelernz hatte, gibt es in diesem Park zwei Azaleentypen, Tsutsuji und Satsuki. Die Tsutsuji-Azaleen waren bereits am Blühen aber die Satsuki-Büsche haben ihren großen Auftritt ein wenig später. Wenn in dem einen Teil des Park die Blüten dann am abfallen sind, geht es in dem anderen Teil erst so richtig los. Hier hat der Gartenplaner mitgedacht.

It's always good to have a reason to get outside, and flowers and blossoms really do provide the perfect excuse. In any case, I want to enjoy the colors of spring for another while, as well as all the fresh green that is now appearing everywhere. Oh, isn't this a wonderful time of year...

Mal schauen, ob wir es zur Satsuki-Blüte auch hierher schaffen, welches wohl in ein oder zwei Wochen losgehen sollte. Es ist immer gut, einen Grund zu haben, nach draußen zu kommen, und Blumen und Blüten bieten sich doch dafür nun wirklich an. Auf jeden Fall will das Farbenspiel des Frühlings noch eine Weile genießen, und auch das viele frische Grün, welches sich nun überall zeigen tut. Ach, diese Jahreszeit ist doch herrlich...
