It's Monday again and the first few hours of the new week were actually quite pleasant. It was slightly sunny and not as cold as you would expect these days. But in the meantime, the weather outside has already changed and it has been raining heavily in places. Well, that's not really surprising either.
But a look at the forecast promises some trouble over the next few days. It's supposed to get significantly colder and we seem to be getting a lot of snow. The wild winter weather is set to start on Tuesday and is supposed to last until Friday. According to the forecast, we can expect 30 to 45 centimetres of snow, which could really mess up my plans for this week.
I have to get out of the house and I have very important appointments coming up, especially in the second half of the week. I'll try to find out tomorrow whether and how these can be postponed if necessary. If it really does snow that much, I'm not sure whether I'll actually manage to be where I need to be during the next days.
Fortunately, during the last really big snowfall, I was able to do everything online and didn't really have to leave the house. This time however, it's a different story and I have to admit that I'm a little worried about how I'll be able to get everything done this week. I may have to postpone one or two appointments, although the forecast for the week after is also predicting some rather harsh winter weather.
Well, maybe everything will turn out differently in the end. When it comes to the weather, you never really know, although it's better to be prepared for the worst. That's why I always have a shovel and an extra jacket and gloves in my car. I will keep reporting and maybe winter will provide us with some great pictures like the ones I took a few years ago,which I can then share with you here again. As usual, there are two sides to every coin and that also applies to the cold and white season.

Es ist wieder Montag und die ersten Stunden hatte sich die neue Woche von einer recht angenehmen Seite gezeigt. Es war leicht sonnig und auch nicht so kalt, wie man es in diesen Tagen eigentlich erwarten würde. Aber mittlerweile hat sich das Wetter draußen bereits geändert und es hat teilweise ordentlich geregnet. Nun ja, auch das ist nicht wirklich überraschend.
Aber der Blick auf die Vorhersage verheißt in den nächsten Tagen wohl etwas Ärger. Es soll bedeutend kälter werden und zusätzlich dann auch noch ordentlich schneien. Am Dienstag soll das wilder Winterwetter losgehen und angeblich bis Freitag anhalten. Laut Vorhersage können wir mit 30 bis 45 Zentimetern Schnee rechnen, was meine Pläne für diese Woche ordentlich durcheinanderwirbeln könnte.
Ich muss nämlich aus dem Haus und es stehen insbesondere für die zweite Wochenhälfte ganz wichtige Termine an. Ob und wie sich diese notfalls verschieben lassen, werde ich morgen versuchen rauszubekommen. Wenn es wirklich so viel schneien sollte, bin ich mir nämlich nicht sicher, ob ich es auch wirklich schaffe, zu der Zeit dort zu sein, wo ich zu sein habe.
Beim letzten wirklich großen Schnee konnte ich glücklicherweise alles Online erledigen und musste nicht wirklich aus dem Haus. Dieses Mal sieht es leider anders und ich mache mir zugegebenermaßen einige Sorgen, wie sich meine Vorhaben in dieser Woche alle erledigen lassen. Den einen oder anderen Termin werde ich möglicherweise verschieben müssen, obwohl auch in der kommenden Woche strenger Winter angesagt ist.
Nun ja, vielleicht kommt am Ende ja alles ganz anders. Mit dem Wetter ist das ja immer so eine Sache, obwohl man sich dann besser doch auf alles vorbereiten sollte. Deshalb habe ich ja auch immer eine Schaufel und eine extra Jacke und Handschuhe im Auto. Ich werde auf jeden Fall weiter berichten und vielleicht beschert uns ja der Winter noch einmal so tolle Bilder wie vor einigen Jahren, die ich dann hier mit euch teilen kann. Wie üblich hat jede Medaille ja zwei Seiten und das gilt auch für die kalten und weiße Jahreszeit.
