There are various clues that let you know what time of year it is. Autumn is no exception, and here it is mainly the many small harvesting vehicles that have been diligently driving across the vast rice fields and mowing them over the last few days. The result was the eagerly awaited new rice, which afterwards stood steaming on so many kitchen tables.
But there are other signs that we are in the fall. The trees will soon change color and put on their colorful leaves. It's still a while until then, but you can still spot a few other heralds of fall in the trees and bushes these days.
And they don't just hang out in nature, they also like to come to where we humans hang out. I'm talking about the many spiders that can be spotted everywhere these days. Most of them are black and yellow and for my taste far too big. This color tends to put me off quite a bit, although I'm always told that this type of spider is actually harmless and won't do any harm to us humans. But I'd rather not do the test in this case and I'd better avoid these little critters. When you're out and about in the forest, you sometimes have to be really careful not to walk through one of the many spider webs. So far, I've managed quite well and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way.
However, sometimes I like to look at them and even take a photo. That is why the yellow-black fellow has made it into today's post. Hopefully for the next time I will find some nicer-looking animal that likes to pose for me. I just need to keep looking...

Es gibt verschiedene Anhaltspunkte, die einen darauf hinweisen, in welcher Jahreszeit man sich gerade befindet. Auch der Herbst ist da keine Ausnahme und hier sidn es vor allen die vielen kleinen Erntefahrzeuge, die in den letzten Tagen fleißig über die weiten Reisfelder gefahren sind und diese abgemäht haben. Das Ergebnis war der heißerwartete neue Reis, der anschließend dampfend auf dem Tisch stand.
Aber es gibt noch andere Anzeichen, dass wir uns im Herbst befinden. Die Bäume werden sich demnächst verfärben und ihr buntes Blätterkleid anlegen. Bis dahin ist es zwar noch etwas hin, aber gerade in den Bäumen und Büschen kann man in diesen Tagen noch einige andere Herbstboten entdecken.
Und diese hängen nicht nur dort in der Natur, sondern kommen auch gerne dahin, wo wir Menschen uns so rumtreiben. Ich spreche von den vielen Spinnen, die man in diesen Tagen überall entdecken tut. Meist sind sie schwarz-gelb und für meinen Geschmack dabei auch noch viel zu groß. Auf mich wirkt diese Farbe eher abschreckend, obwohl mir immer gesagt wird, dass diese Spinnenart doch eigentlich gant harmlos sei und dem Menschen nichts tun würde. Aber den Test will ich in diesem Fall dann doch lieber nicht machen und ich gehe diesen kleinen Biestern dann besser aus dem Weg. Wenn man im Wald unterwegs ist, muss man manchmal richtig aufpassen, nicht durch eines der vielen Spinnennetze zu laufen. Bisher ist mir das ganz gut geglückt und ich drücke mir selber die Daumen, dass es dabei auch bleiben wird.
Aber manchmal schaue ich sie mir die Spinnen etwas näher an und mache sogar ein Foto. Deshalb hat es der gelb-schwarze Bursche in den heutigen Beitrag geschafft. Hoffentlich finde ich beim nächsten Mal ein hübscheres Tier, das für mich posieren möchte. Ich muss einfach länger suchen...
