Introducing Myself to Blurt

You were a whale? I didn't know you on the other two.

I stressed myself out on H and S producing high quality creative writing and getting pretty much nowhere. Here, I can simply be reasonable and honest, post now and then, and earn more than I did/do on H. It's lovely. I follow very few accounts here and spread my upvotes only around those few. It might be considered circle jerking by some, but I really do read the posts, and believe l that my supporters read mine. It's much better here, more human, less money driven.

In the early days of steemit it was very much like that, tons of engagement, everyone very welcoming and open. 2016 through 2017 I would say. It was sad when that changed, and it definitely changed when bid bots came into the picture.

I did well there then, posted my way up to a decent dolphin, and sold enough when it was about five bucks apiece to take a cross country roadtrip with my family. I will always be grateful for at least that, not to mention so many amazing people I've met, like frot here ;) Many left, but I'm fortunate to have kept touch with quite a few off platform :)

I can already tell that we are kindred, so here's to making new connections like I once did :)

Cheers!

Early Steemit was really cool! I used to look at you as this massive rock star account holder. The way it all changed in 2018 was mind boggling.

The glory days. It was actual magic.

Howie is going to do a bit of research on this Blockchain. If he decides it has a good probability for increase, I may just find myself with a bit more of these coins dropped into my account haha.

If it goes that way, I have a list of people who disappeared from steemit to reach out to. You remember the-alien? He posted this on FB today, talking about the "I'm not a biologist" nonsense. His style of post and memes would be right up your alley :0) He may find a home here.

Im really curious to see what he finds...the price is very cheap but i wonder if the hive cabal could attack it if it was a threat? And we know they would like to!

Whales on Blurt have millions of tokens, so it needs a mental shift. And what is the market like? Im thinking aloud here but its not Hive and im going to be totally open and public.

The content is a bit thin at this point but im sure it could grow

I was angry that day, we all have opinions and they can change, bought the dip this week and boought another 3000 today as on hive engine they are 0.014 cents and on exchanges 0.0178 so some money to be made.

I can't help me self buying the dips 🤬🥓

Same here but I powered it all up last night and forgot to leave some to chat, so sold some silly steemmonsters cards to get back in the game on here.

It's a way better game here for sure!

So far ive seen both good and bad, and am open minded about Blurt potential, so keen to hear more opinions

I was primarily doing Hive for the money, and did very well out of it...not from posting but from buying a large holding at 15 cents and later selling it for 90 cents...i had several accounts and did curation like a job for about 9 months, but the social side of it was hopeless. It is all so unpleasant now I wouldnt use it even if i thought it was still a potential investment. Which i dont!

There are too many attempts to control behavior on H. Of course, these behavior mod measures always impact the smaller accounts the most, just like irl. The communities really stressed me out, still do. Cliques. You're either in or you're out. You're more likely to be in if you get regular whale upvotes. Nothing whatsoever to do with content anymore - it's all who you know, and who you haven't pissed off. It's impossible to be genuine. Especially if you want to earn anything at all. It's how you play the game time on H, and playing on discord is a must. I can't. I just can't.

While I am happy that the most powerful whales ignore me altogether, it's pretty frustrating to see mediocre to bad content automatically earning WAAAAAY more than one of my carefully written, formatted, cited, proofread and gussied up posts could ever earn.

I always avoid Discord too - very dodgy place! I refuse to use it to interact with anyone. I use Bastyon encrypted chat for private stuff.

The inside circle control almost all the reward pool on Hive - I'm hoping that isn't the case on Blurt, but I haven't had a proper look - I do get the impression the Hive insiders hate Blurt, which is a good start

I like this whole comment ✍️🤬🆔🤳
BLURT is the antiHIVE-cabal ... Unofficially of course. But is was built to drive H8 into the heart of the nest of idiots who broke a perfectly nice chain.

Well done in getting the Dream I T over here for funD 🎯
