: You were called up for the national team, what are your feelings?
Hasan Mahmud: I can't really explain it as a feeling. At the end of BPL, my village home was Laxmipur. I was talking to my parents when the cricket board informed me that I was going to Pakistan with the national team.
Glad to hear that. Everyone in my family is happy. I hope I can perform as expected in Pakistan tour.
Jugantar: Which tournament has contributed the most to getting a chance in the national team?
Hasan Mahmud: Before the BPL, I was in the ‘E’ category in the BPL player draft after playing well in the Emerging Cup and the SA Games in Nepal. I am actually lucky to have the opportunity to play in a star-studded team like Dhaka Platoon under the leadership of Mashrafe Bhai.
The coaching staff had faith in me. Moreover, Mashrafe Bhai has given me many opportunities. I am happy with BPL performance, it has been good for the first time.
