Who is Mosun Omotunde?

Hello everyone. My name is Mosun Omotunde, but you can call me Mo as all of my friends do. I am a Nigerian woman, married with 2 teenage girls who make my life beautiful every day.

What do I do?

I’ve got a Masters in Industrial Psychology and it was almost inevitable that I chose a career in human resources. I am a recruitment consultant and I run a recruitment firm in Nigeria where we help small and medium scale businesses with their hiring and staffing needs. I also sell fragrance oils on the side because I just looooooove beautiful smells. Filling and bottling perfumes is a source of great delight for me; the incredible smells constantly wafting through my home is the perfect icing on that cake. I love to smell great and love to help people smell good too.

What are my hobbies?

I have got just one real hobby; Movies! I am a quintessential movie lover; my perfect leisure time is one where I’m snuggled up in bed or curled up in a chair watching a movie. I’ll watch anything, historical, adventure, war, crime, sci-fi, fantasy, drama, romcom, chick flicks, etc. I love almost all movie genre with the exception of horror movies; I can’t stand those, especially zombie movies or creepy-crawlies…yuck!

What’s my personality type?

I call myself a Phleg-Chol (Phlegmatic & Choleric). My Phlegmatic side is the homely woman who’s easy going, cheerful and loves to make people comfortable in her space. My Choleric side is more evident when I am at work or handling a task. I am told I become a little strict and demanding when I want stuff done. I can’t stand lazy people and I rarely can hide how I feel about them…lol.

What I hope to find on Blurt

I must say a special thank you to @imransoudagar for inviting me here. I look forward to meeting new people and reading/learning/curating cool new stuff here. I used to be a die-hard writer/curator on Whaleshares a few years back but I lost my ‘zing’. I’m gonna try to get it back here though.
